Yankees Top Astros in Spring Game
In Kissimmee, Florida, the New York Yankees defeated the Houston Astros by a final score of 7-6. With the win, the Yankees improved their spring record to 2-0. The loss dropped the Astros to 1-5.
Robinson Cano went 3-4 for the Yankees, while driving in two runs and scoring one run. Shelley Duncan had two hits in his four at bats and he also had two RBIs and one run scored.
The Astros got a three-run homerun by Carlos Lee off of Yankees’ starter Mike Mussina. Our own Hunter Pence went 2-3 with two doubles and a run scored.
Houston will try to get back on the winning track on Tuesday when they play the Detroit Tigers in the early afternoon.

We had an inch of ice here in Buffalo, NY last night, but what is getting me through this forever snowy season is the fact that Baseball is back! The Yanks are off to an impressive pre-season, but what will they be like this season with a new manager? It has my interest peaked.
